Song of the Stars

19" high x 33" wide x 2" deep
2005
wild goose skeleton, wood, iron, copper, graphite, pigments, silk

Song of the Stars contains the words to a Passomoquoddy Indian song, surrounded by a wreath of bones from a Canada goose. This piece is a reminder that we are interconnected with all the elements of the natural world, and that we are part of the cycle of birth, florescence, death and rebirth. Photograph by Eric Ferguson.
