A second text source for Natural Philosophies is a list of the right ascension and declination of the principal fixed stars in the northern constellations. The list, which comes from a book written in 1725 by Thomas Wright, continues in a meandering band across all five panels, referring to an earlier, more poetic way of naming the stars in the sky.
